Background

Conspicuous was founded by a Yogi and her Best Friend - A Video Creative.

The Yogi has a love for beautiful curated scents and candles that soothes the mind after a long day, to feel calm, relaxed, rejuvenated. In Yoga, Pranayama which refers to the practice of breath control and Breathing is the source of Prana, our vital life force, one of the basic yet most important part of our daily lives. 

The Best Friend has an adventurous soul whose favorite pastime is to read a book while a candle burns away and soft music plays in the background. She believes that beautiful scents can be a way to increase quality of life.

It was then researching about scents and its benefits brought out the drastic differences in the origins of these products that we breathe in daily and the idea to bring about a non-toxic, stress-free, nature-friendly product came to life. Most importantly beneficial to health, they made sure to only use 100% natural products such as beeswax, and essential oils.

Our Products

Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees and not only does it burn longer, it is clean burning and has a naturally sweet honey scent. 

Beeswax candles are also known for being hypo-allergenic. People with asthma or allergies report fewer problems with beeswax candles. Some feel that a beeswax candle is a natural ionizer – it emits negative ions. The negative ions produced by beeswax candles helps to neutralize pollutants.

Candles made from pure beeswax are a renewable resource and they produce a bright, white light (in the same spectrum as sunlight).

Mission & Values

At Conspicuous, we aspire to be a Zero Waste Brand, and that means reusing packaging (such as sanitized bubble wraps for repackaging), biodegradable materials for delivery, recyclable jars and so on. There isn't anything from our products that we haven't thought of a use for!
